• Singing at the Nursing Home following 2nd service. (changed from the 3rd Sunday due to the funeral)

Young Group:

HOPE group for 6th - 8th grade girls will have their Welcome Night on Wednesday, September 3, at 6:30 at the Roanoke Park. We'll meet in the pavilion by the pool, and supper will be included. Check your email for more details.

Ladies Day will be on Saturday, September 27th 9:00-11:30 am at the Fellowship Hall. The theme is Reconciling Expectations with Reality. All ladies, high school age and above are welcome to attend and you are welcome to invite a friend or neighbor. Please sign up on the link

Ladies Bible Study: Any ladies looking to join a bible study group, please contact Jackie Knepp at 309-397-0728. There are several groups looking for ladies to join them. These multigenerational groups are a great way to grow together in the Word and build relationships within our church family.

New Baby - Congratulations to Fred and Jodi Leman with the birth of their son, Pete William.

New Convert - Thankful that Jordan Schwind (Brian & Rebekah) has begun his repentance and walk with the Lord.

Engagement - Congratulations to Jason Moser and Leigha Rokey (Dwight & Anita) from Bern as they have announced their engagement.

National Church

• The General Conference talks are now available on AC Central under “Past Events”.
• The third annual Grafted Gathering - an adoption and foster families support day — will be held Saturday, September 20 at the Forrest Apostolic Christian Church. • Technology in Our Lives: Opportunities and Cautions - Saturday, September 13 at 7pm at the Goodfield Fellowship Hall. Bro. Jon Moser from the Emerging Technology Committee will speak. This is designed for families of all ages to explore the role of technology in our daily lives - both positive and areas where caution is needed. Topics include social media, privacy, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and other key topics.
