Sunday, 8/31

  • Lunch Provided by Luke & Allison Fischer


Wednesday, 9/3

  • HOPE group for 6th - 8th grade girls will have their Welcome Night at 6:30 at the Roanoke Park. We'll meet in the pavilion by the pool, and supper will be included. Check your email for more details.
  • WOW will meet at Beer’s Shed at 7pm.


Thursday, 9/4

  • Helping Hands will meet from 9-12.


Friday, 9/5 - Men’s Steak Dinner - at Stephen & Susan Bertschi's land. All men of high school age and older are welcome to attend! Come anytime after 5 pm and dinner will be served at 6 pm.


Saturday, 9/6

  • Testimonies singing starts at 7:00 pm - Makenzie Knepp, Josh Tibbs, Vonn Leman (Jim Leman’s grandson from Texas), Halle Fischer


Young Group:

  • Tuesday, 9/2 - Singing at Eureka Nursing Home at 7pm
  • Saturday, 9/6 - Testimonies with singing after at Luke & Allison Fischer’s.


Family Night will be Wednesday, 9/10 - Bro. Luke Fischer along with 3 guests plan to give a review on the new Sunday School Curriculum including an overview of the project, goals for the different age groups and a perspective from one of the authors. Save the Date - Bible Class Harvest Dinner will be held on November 8th to raise funds for their mission trip in 2026. Details to come.


Save the Date - Ladies Day will be on Saturday, September 27th 9:00-11:30 am at the Fellowship Hall. The theme is Reconciling Expectations with Reality. All ladies, high school age and above are welcome to attend. Please sign up on the link

Ladies Bible Study: Any ladies looking to join a bible study group, please contact Jackie Knepp at 309-397-0728. There are several groups looking for ladies to join them. These multigenerational groups are a great way to grow together in the Word and build relationships within our church family.

National Church

  • The third annual Grafted Gathering - an adoption and foster families support day — will be held Saturday, September 20 at the Forrest Apostolic Christian Church. Come be encouraged, learn, and share with others walking the same journey.  Registration is now open! Find more details and register here.
  • Technology in Our Lives: Opportunities and Cautions - Saturday, September 13 at 7pm at the Goodfield Fellowship Hall. Bro. Jon Moser from the Emerging Technology Committee will speak. This is designed for families of all ages to explore the role of technology in our daily lives - both positive and areas where caution is needed. Topics include social media, privacy, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and other key topics.
