August Collection - HarvestCall Servant Fund
Sunday, 8/17
- Brad Metz (Bloomington) will have the first service.
- Second Service - Funeral of Charlene Monk beginning at 12:30. Her visitation will be from 11:30- 12:30.
- Lunch Provided by Jeff and Jenny Hodel
Monday, 8/18 - Trail Life / American Heritage Girls Open House and Registration Night - at 6:00 pm. Both are in the church basement this year. Come learn about these organizations that serve our youth from 5 - 17 years old. Kids are welcome to attend too.
There is a Retired Men's Breakfast that meets once a month. We enjoy good friends, good fellowship, and good food. If you would like to be added to the list, please let Randy Feucht know. If you are on the list but no longer want to be, also let Randy know.
Wednesday, 8/20
- Cemetery Volunteer Help Needed - from 9-noon We plan to continue each week until Labor Day. Please text Greg Moser at 309-573-6891 if you are able to help so he can plan accordingly.
Homecoming Benefit for Nursing Home August 22 and 23rd:
As we look forward to the Nursing Home Benefit Weekend next week, thank you for your prayers and support of the weekend.

- There will be a farmers market on Friday and Saturday. If you have produce you would be willing to donate, please contact Sis. Marybeth Schmidgall or sign-up on the link provided.
- This year there will be an option to charge all food and items to your bidder number for a streamlined checkout.
- For planning purposes, there are 2 attachments below - one is a flyer with dining options for your family and the other a schedule of events during the weekend.

- Sunday School begins.
- Men of Integrity - We will be meeting in the Bible Class room at 8:30am
- Frank plans to provide a conference summary during the 2nd service.
- Singing at the Nursing Home following 2nd service. (changed from the 3rd Sunday due to the funeral)

- Tuesday, 8/19 - Singing at Roanoke Nursing Home at 7pm
- Friday, 8/22 - Nursing Home Homecoming Benefit Dinner

- The third annual Grafted Gathering - an adoption and foster families support day — will be held Saturday, September 20 at the Forrest Apostolic Christian Church. Come be encouraged, learn, and share with others walking the same journey. Registration is now open! Find more details and register here.

- Technology in Our Lives: Opportunities and Cautions - Saturday, September 13 at 7pm at the Goodfield Fellowship Hall. Bro. Jon Moser from the Emerging Technology Committee will speak. This is designed for families of all ages to explore the role of technology in our daily lives - both positive and areas where caution is needed. Topics include social media, privacy, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and other key topics.

- Gospel Concert Fundraiser - Friday, August 29 at 6:30 at the Roanoke Park to benefit our Roanoke and Eureka Aposotlic Christian Nursing Homes.
- Heartline & Heart House Annual Spaghetti Supper & Bake Sale on Thursday, August 28th at the Heart House Community Room in Eureka from 3:30 - 6:30. Dine in and Carry Out available $10/person cash or check made out to “Heartline and Heart House”.
