May Collection - Operational Fund

  • Testimonies at 6:30 pm -  Charlie Bertschi, Eleanor Carlson, Delaney Hodel, Libby Hodel. 
  • Bro. Matt Koehl (Sarasota) will assist.


Sunday, 5/31 

  • 1st Service - Bro. Matt Koehl (Sarasota) will have this service.
  • 2nd Service - Baptismal service for Charlie Bertschi, Eleanor Carlson, Delaney Hodel, Libby Hodel
  • Lunch provided by Fred & Jodi Leman


Monday - Thursday, June 1-4 - Vacation Bible School at 6:45 pm. The Theme is “The Good Shepherd” - The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Psalm 23:1

  • Please have your child downstairs by 6:45 each night in the intermediate Sunday school room to start singing. They will be dismissed from the intermediate Sunday School room by 8:00 each night. Parents of children ages 3 through kindergarten should be downstairs to pick up their child by that time.
  • VBS for the high-school students and adults - Singing begins each night at 6:45. Here is the schedule for the week:
  • Monday - Bro. Clark Stoller from Gridley - Lost to Found -Psalm 23:1 and 1 Sam. 17:34-37
  • Tuesday - Bro. Mike Kaisner from Peoria - Wrong Path to Right Path -Psalm 23:2-3 and 1 Sam. 17
  • Wednesday - Bro. Greg Beutel from Tremont - Fearful to Peaceful -Psalms 23:4 and 1 Sam. 19-23
  • Thursday - Bro. Jeff Niehouser from Morton - Grumbling to Grateful and Shaky to Sure -Psalm 23:5-6 and 2 Sam. 6:1-5, 1 Chronicles 22 and 2 Sam. 7


Thursday, 6/4 - Helping Hands will meet at 9:00 am to noon.


Young Group:

  • VBS - Monday-Thursday at 6:45pm
  • Tuesday, 6/2- Singing at Eureka Nursing Home at 7pm
  • Friday, 6/5 - Bible Study over Hosea 11-14 at Scott & Mandy Yordy’s at 7pm.


New Baby - Congratulations Zachary & Kayla Mangold with the birth of their son, Walker Elijah on 5/24..


Farewell - Our love and prayers go with Jackson Beer as he will be going to Sunset Gap, Tennessee to serve as an intern for 9 weeks assisting mission teams this summer.


Roanoke church is hosting HarvestCall's Proclaim & Serve Conference on July 10th & 11th. We will be needing many volunteers to help the conference run smoothly. This is also a good opportunity to learn more about HarvestCall and its various missions. Please see the following sign-ups for volunteer jobs as well as baking cookies/bars for the conference lunch. Looking Ahead

  • Sunday, 6/7 - Communion will be served at the Nursing Home. Singing will begin at 1:00. Those who could not attend communion are welcome to join the residents.
  • Sunday, 6/28 - Sunday School Picnic


National Church

  • New “AC Jobs” Board in AC Central - open to any employer (business or nonprofit) who wishes to recruit Apostolic Christians. For a small fee, employers can post jobs to reach all registered AC Central users.
  • Silver Lining reader-submitted article -The topic is Spiritual Lessons from Seasoned Brethren: Relate how experienced believers’ examples have enhanced your focus on biblical living in the Spirit. Submit your contribution (length = 600 words or less) on this topic to features@acsilverlining.org by July 1​5, 2026.

  • Walking for Amy St. Jude Fundraiser - June 6- 8 AM- Roanoke Park. Walk, run, play disc golf, or just come up to the park, make a donation and enjoy refreshments.
