Sunday 2/5

• Prayer Gathering - 9:00am in the intermediate Sunday School room.  All are welcome to begin our day of worship with sharing some time in prayer.
• Foundations Class -  will be meeting during morning service in the adult Sunday school classroom in the North east corner downstairs. We encourage any friends to join in.  Please contact Bro. Jonathan Hodel if you have any questions.

Wednesday 2/8

• Family Night - Luke and Lydia Kieser will be sharing about The Bible Toolbox which will include a testimony of their spiritual journey. HarvestCall:

• New missionary support card booklets are available on the bookshelf in the north hall.  These are a replacement for any older card booklet and will be updated yearly. Please take one as a way to remember the HarvestCall missionaries in prayer. 

• The date for the HarvestCall Proclaim & Serve Conference needs to be corrected from the church directory calendar from June 7-8 to July 7-8, 2023. Roanoke church will be hosting which requires many helping hands. We encourage all to attend and learn more about HarvestCall's mission and outreach ministries, and also to help out with volunteer opportunities for the weekend.

• The next Silver Lining reader-submitted article is set for May 2023. In anticipation of Father’s Day, the topic is: What teachings, blessings, and legacies still guide your choices from having a God-fearing *father* with integrity? (*can also reference a father-figure)  Please submit your contribution (length = 600 words or less) on this topic to features@acsilverlining.org by March 15, 2023. You may email that same address for writing support or clarification.

Other Ways to Learn and Serve

• The Berean Bus Ministry board has composed a letter to help generate bus awareness and share needs. Our Sunday School uses the Berean bus periodically, in the coming month they will take it on their ski trip and to Cissna Park ACYF. The buses are used for the various church camps, mission trips, etc. Please see the attached letter below for more details about this ministry and it's need for financial support. Donations can be sent to the address in the letter or placed in the donation boxes at church.

• The 2023 Midwest Food Bank Virtual On-line Silent Auction is scheduled for April 13-14. The Gala Dinner and Live Auction will be Saturday April 15. The Roanoke committee is currently seeking homemade items, themed dinners or events, and business products or services as auction items. Cash donations can be used by the committee to purchase items for the gala or as Benefit sponsorships. Tables for up to 8 are available for the Gala Dinner and Auction.Deadline for donations will be February 28th. Please contact Jon or Jill Fehr for donations and/or table tickets
