September Collection - Sunday School Fund

College Care Packages - As a church body, we would like to remember our college students by praying for them, encouraging them and sending a small care package. If you would like to send a care package, you can pick up an envelope containing your student’s information on the bulletin board in the back hallway. Thanks in advance for your generosity and please be intentional about reaching out to them within 2-3 weeks of receiving their information.

National Church
- Denver Church New Location - The Lord has provided for the growing Denver church to purchase an existing church about 1.5 miles from their current location. The building also has a space that can be used as a fellowship hall. The new church building is located at 14700 E Mississippi Avenue, Aurora, Colorado. The last service in the current building will be October 11 and the first service in the new building will be October 18th. - Instruments of Worship on Saturday, September 26th, 6:30pm in Northeast Ohio near the Rittman, Canaan, Akron, Smithville churches at a local high school - the Norwayne High School Auditorium, 350 S. Main Street, Creston, OH 44217. This instrumental music concert will feature musicians with ties to the Apostolic Christian Church from various states whose purpose is to make music with one another in worship and praise to God. All are welcome. Overnight accommodations are available. Please contact Sis. Candi Schlatter at 330-466-2774 to make arrangements.
- Apologetics Conference on Saturday, November 14 at Bluffton North. The purpose of the conference is to raise awareness of what apologetics is and why it matters and introduce major apologetic questions. This year’s theme is “Shining as Lights in a Secular Age”. We will explore the rise of secular ideas in our schools, work places and institutions. - Silver Lining Reader Submitted Article Opportunity - The topic is “Learning Contentment: Share how your life-lessons allow God to recalibrate your expectations of life, comfort, and success (Phill 4:11-13) Submit your contribution (length = 600 words or less) on this topic to features@acsilverlining.org by Nov. 16.

Other Ways to Learn and Serve
- Gospel Sing with the Drayer Family for Loving Shepherd Ministries - Friday, October 30th at Roanoke Fellowship Hall. Doors open at 6pm, event starts at 6:30 with information about LSM and an hour of singing by Matt & Tiffany Drayer and their 11 children. A freewill offering will be taken to support single moms and kids in Haiti for the Fatherless Family Redemption Program. Snacks will follow.
