• HOPE will meet from 6:30-8:30 at Andrea Harris's home. All 6th-8th grade girls are welcome! Please check your email for details.
• WOW will meet at 7:00pm at Bertshi’s Land

Thursday, 9/3

• Helping Hands will meet from 9am - Noon.

Young Group:

• Tuesday, 9/1 - Singing at Roanoke Nursing Home at 7pm
• Friday, 9/4 - Romans Bible Study at Todd & Kathy Moser’s at 7pm

Friday, September 11 - Men's Steak Dinner at Stephen & Susan Bertschi's land. All men of high school age and older are welcome to attend! Come anytime after 5 pm and dinner will be served at 6 pm. In case of rain, it will be rescheduled for Saturday September 12.

To my Roanoke Church family, As some of you may know, Alyse and I have decided to make Gridley Apostolic our home church. We both would like to express our deepest gratitude for the love and support we have felt throughout our engagement. Your generosity has been truly humbling, and we can’t thank you enough.

I also want to personally thank the Roanoke Church for the fellowship, accountability, prayers, and discipleship that you all have blessed me with for much of my life. In addition, the way everyone came around us Double L guys and lifted us up during such a low point still touches me every time I think about it. It is so easy to see the love of Jesus shining in this church, and I love you all very much as brothers and sisters in Christ. (P.S. we will make sure to visit frequently!)

The purpose of the conference is to raise awareness of what apologetics is and why it matters and introduce major apologetic questions. This year’s theme is “Shining as Lights in a Secular Age”. We will explore the rise of secular ideas in our schools, work places and institutions. Other Ways to Learn and Serve

• GriefShare Program starting Monday, September 14th - This is a faith-based, 13 week program designed to help grieving spouses, children and parents navigate the grief journey.
