June Collection -  Operational Fund


Sunday, 6/29

  • Senior Breakfast will be at the Fellowship Hall at 9:15am. Please contact Ellie Rassi to RSVP or if you have questions.
  • Memorandum 
  • Sunday School Picnic at 4pm at the Roanoke Park Building - Meat, drink and dessert will be provided. Please bring TWO side dishes to share.   • Cemetery Volunteer Help Needed - from 9-noon We plan to continue each week until Labor Day. Please text Greg Moser at 309-573-6891 if you are able to help so he can plan accordingly. 


Thursday, 7/3 - Helping Hands will meet from 9-noon.


Sunday, 7/6

  • Prayer Meeting at 9am in the Intermediate Sunday School Room. All are welcome to begin our day of worship in prayer.


Wednesday, 7/9 will be Family Night - Details will be coming.

  • Tuesday, 7/1 - Singing at Eureka Nursing Home at 7pm
  • Friday, 7/4 - Peoria Fireworks


Thank you - Dave is scheduled for scans (lung, abdomen, and pelvic area) on Monday morning. Thank you for your continued prayer support. Thank you for the love, the prayers, the meals, the gifts, the gift cards, the help with yard work, the offers for rides, inviting us for times of fellowship-meals, hikes, etc. and your encouraging notes and words.  Our church family has been the hands and feet of Jesus to us and we truly appreciate all of your kind efforts! Also thanks to all who supported Andrew and  Jenny's bridal shower. You have blessed our family in so many ways, and we pray the Lord will bless you for your kindness! Love, Dave, Barb and family


Homecoming Benefit for Nursing Home:

  • Items are needed for the live auction to be held on Saturday, August 23rd. If you’d like to donate any new item, themed basket, getaway, hosted dinner, or any other service or activity, please contact Jana Gastman. For planning purposes, all donated items would be appreciated by August 1st.

National Church

  • Proclaim & Serve will be held Saturday July 12 in Goodfield IL. ALL are encouraged to come and be inspired, be challenged, and be better equipped to share the gospel. Learn more and register before the July 7 deadline at https://www.proclaimandserve.org/ 
  • General Conference will be on a Saturday, Aug. 9th in Tremont. The theme is “Jesus will Build His Church” and the day will include topical presentations, breakouts and small group discussions. Other Ways to Learn and Serve

  • LifeWise Academy exists to reach public school students with the gospel. Under the released time law, students may be released from school during school hours to receive religious instruction, provided  the program is held off school property, privately funded, and parent-permitted. The Roanoke school board and administration has agreed to allow LifeWise to begin a program in District 60 schools. We are currently seeking applicants for an RB Program Director as well as leadership board members.
