Sunday 6/19

• Annual Bible Class Senior Breakfast 9:15 at Caleri's - Senior graduates, their parents, the remainder of the Bible Class students, Bible Class teachers and their wives are invited.
• Sunday School Nominations - Names should be turned into the Nominating Committee by today. 
• Special Sunday School Collection - the last two Sundays have been set aside to help Ellie Moore (Athens, AL) who was recently diagnosed with leukemia.  Caringbridge 

Wednesday 6/22 - Memorandum - Bro. Kent Heimer plans to be with us.  Singing from 7:00-7:30

Sunday 6/26

• Services at Peoria Rescue Mission -  We'll meet in the West parking lot at 7:15.  If you have questions, please contact Bro. Tim Martin. Singing help is always welcome.
• Sunday School Picnic -  With our current schedule, we are going to have lunch at 12:30 at the Roanoke Park Building. Food and table service will be provided so just bring your family! Games, fun, and fellowship will follow. Remember to bring softball or any other sports equipment you might be using. 

August 26-27 Homecoming Day Benefit Auction  - Please consider donating an item or service or make a monetary donation to our Homecoming Day Benefit. Monetary donations may be mailed to the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke Benefit Fund (ATTN Nate Hoffman, PO Box 530, Roanoke, IL 61561).  If you have an item to donate, please contact Sis. Cheryl Baurer cabaurer@hotmail.com (309-645 7505) to arrange a time to deliver an item to her home. We would appreciate hearing from you by Monday, August 1st so your donation can be advertised ahead of the auction.

Ministries and Talent Survey -  To better identify where people desire to serve in our church, Please complete the online survey. We encourage everyone (members and friends from high school on up) to complete the survey.  It takes about 2-3 minutes to complete. https://www.roanokeacchurch.org/ministries-and-talents-survey  This survey will also be used by the Nominating Committee for the upcoming Sunday School election.

National Church Events

• Saturday 7/9 - Proclaim and Serve Conference at Goodfield  - Proclaim & Serve missions conference (proclaimandserve.org)  (Roanoke will be hosting this conference in 2023)
• Friday 8/5 - Brotherhood Conference in Bluffton - The Bluffton Country congregation is looking forward to hosting the 2022 General Conference on Friday, August 5th. We want to invite all to this conference. If you can attend, please contact Bro John Bradle. You can click on the link in the email announcements to register for the conference no later than Friday, July 1st. It is our prayer that the name of Jesus will be lifted up and our Heavenly Father will be glorified in all that we do. In the Love of Christ, The Bluffton Country Brotherhood Conference Committee (Keep in mind that the Gateway Woods Auction is Saturday, August 6th in Leo (only a 45 minute drive from Bluffton).  We know that they would love to have your support there as well.)

Other Ways to Learn and Serve

• Saturday 6/25 - Walk for Amy at 8:00 AM - Thanks to everyone who registered and/or signed up to bring refreshments. All are still welcome to register the  morning of the Walk at Roanoke Park. We appreciate your support for St. Jude!
• Silver Lining - The next Silver Lining reader-submitted article is set for September 2022. The topic is: “In a world that can seem so overwhelming, how can we maintain a home (or personal sphere of influence) that is a peaceful refuge (John 17:15-17). Please submit your contribution (length = 600 words or less) on this topic to features@acsilverlining.org by July 15, 2022.
