June Collection -  Operational Fund


Sunday, 6/1

  • Prayer Meeting - 9am in the Sunday School Intermediate Room - All are welcome!
  • 1st service - Bro. Bill Wettstein (Eureka)
  • 2nd service - Singleness, Marriage and the Church - part 2 - Bro. Ted Witzig (Morton)
  • Lunch Provided by Nate / Nick Hoffman


June 2-5 - Vacation Bible School  is Monday-Thursday evening this week and the theme is “Magnify the Lord”. 

  • Please have your child downstairs by 6:45 each night in the intermediate Sunday school room to start singing. They will be dismissed from the intermediate Sunday School room by 8:00 each night. Parents of children ages 3 through kindergarten should be downstairs to pick up their child by that time.
  • VBS for the high-school students and adults:
  • Singing begins each night at 6:45. The Gridley choir will be here Monday evening to sing from 6:45-7:00 before our first speaker.  The other three nights will be congregational singing from 6:45-7:00. Here is the schedule for the week:

Magnify the Lord - Psalm 34:3 “O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.”

  • Monday - Bro. Kaleb Beyer from Washington - God cares for us; we are important to God. Deut. 31:8 and John 1:12
  • Tuesday - Bro. Brad Stoller from Eureka - God loves us despite our sin Romans 5:8
  • Wednesday - Bro. Cody Schumacher from Goodfield - God’s forgiveness John 3:16
  • Thursday - Bro. Tim Wiegand from Leo - God’s Faithfulness Matthew 6:25-34 and Psalm 100:5


Wednesday, 6/4

  • Cemetery Volunteer Help Needed - from 9-noon We plan to continue each week until Labor Day. Please text Greg Moser at 309-573-6891 if you are able to help so he can plan accordingly. 


Thursday, 6/5 - Helping Hands will meet from 9am - noon.


Young Group:

  • Friday, 6/6 - SALT/LIGHT Guys/Girls Split Speaker Night at Brad & April Hartter’s at 7:00pm.


General Conference will be on a Saturday, Aug. 9th in Tremont. The theme is “Jesus will Build His Church” and the day will include topical presentations, breakouts and small group discussions.   • Anabaptism at 500 Event - On Saturday, June 28, from 8:30am to noon at the Washington, Illinois Apostolic Christian Church, we’ll explore key moments in Anabaptist and Apostolic Christian history through three engaging talks and guided group discussions.   • The 2025 Apostolic Christian Men’s Sing will be in Morris, MN on August 23rd-24th.
