Small Group Gatherings Starting Soon! - Are you interested in spending time with others in our congregation? Small group gatherings are a new opportunity to interact and build relationships for all ages that attend the Apostolic Christian Church of Roanoke. We encourage participation for people in single digits to triple digits. Sign up as an individual, couple, family, or as 2-3 friends. These gatherings will allow for “participation only” or the opportunity to participate as a host occasionally if you choose. Those who host can indicate preferences at sign-up on the size and type of group they would prefer and can choose to be as creative or as simple with hosting as they feel comfortable. A few examples would be bonfire and singing, coffee and dessert evening, have dinner together, plan a fish fry, appetizer potluck, picnic in the park, or pizza party. Gatherings will occur two times this year as a way to help our church body connect and spend time together with a variety of people.  If you have an interest in gathering, please sign up at https://www.roanokeacchurch.org/small-group-gatherings or contact Sisters Kathy Knapp orPenny Maher.

Remodeling Update

  • Lost and Found - Please check the lost and found table for any items that belong to you. Also, please remove all the children's bags, etc. from the racks in the back hallway in preparation for the remodel project beginning May 12. Any items left after Sunday, May 8, will be donated.
  • Volunteers Needed - Lord willing, the remodeling project will start on May 9 but we will still be having church services in the sanctuary on the 11th. Volunteers should arrive at 7 AM on the 9th to remove some benches to prepare for the painter. On May 12th, 13th, and 14th starting at 8 a.m. we need lots of volunteers, both men and women, to remove benches and carpeting. (Tools and other items to bring with you:    cordless drills - 7/16 and 5/16, #3 Phillips and #2 Phillips, small flat pry bars, square bits - #1, floor scrapers, shop vacs, vice grips, and knives.). Any questions check with Bro. Jim Braker. Thanks in advance for being willing to help

2nd Service Bible Study -  we plan to begin another study sometime in August after the remodel.

Saturday 7/9 - Proclaim and Serve Conference at Goodfield  - Proclaim & Serve missions conference (proclaimandserve.org)  (Roanoke will be hosting this conference in 2023)
