Sunday, 3/29 

• Second Service - “A Message to the Church”
• Lunch provided by Jon & Jessi Schwind
• All Church Wedding Shower/Reception for Zach & Kayla Mangold following church at the Fellowship Hall - 12:45 - 2pm. This will be a money gift shower, a card available to sign when you arrive or bring your own. RSVP at Zach and Kayla Shower Sign Up Link 
• Communion at 6:00 pm - Bro. Joe Gerber (Champaign) will be assisting.
• Singing - begins at 6:00 with the communion service at 6:15
• Bread and Wine - will be served in individual cups (gluten free bread and juice will also be available)
• Converts - should sit with their family
• If you cannot attend communion and would like to join online, please contact Frank and he will get you bread and wine. 

Thursday, 4/2 - Helping Hands will meet from 9-noon.

Friday, 4/3 - Good Friday 

• Good Friday Service at 7:15pm - The Prairie Choristers will sing several songs as part of the service. There will be a singing following Good Friday service at the Fellowship Hall followed by an ice cream snack. All are welcome!
• In the Morning of Good Friday is the Nursing Home Annual Easter Egg Hunt from 9:30-11:30am with many children's activities. Please RSVP by 3/27 to Molly Hanrahan: molly@achroanoke.org or 309-923-2071 ext. 170. See attached flier.

Easter Sunday, 4/5 - 

• Easter Sunrise Service at 7:15am with songs by the Prairie Choristers and Youth Choir.
• Breakfast will be served after the sunrise service. This year, there will be extra tables set up in the intermediate Sunday School room instead of the north hall. If it is easy for you/your party to go us and down stairs, please consider carrying your plate of food downstairs to eat. Note that there will be a drink station in the basement, but no food line so everyone should go through the food line in the dining room. Please sign up here if you are able to help. Wednesday, 4/8 - Family Night - Gary & Marla Ringger plan to be with us and share their Lifesong journey. The evening will begin with a 6:00 pizza supper, with congregational singing beginning at 6:45, followed by the presentation at 7:00. HOPE will meet on Wednesday, 4/15 in the church dining room for Friendship & Florals. This was rescheduled from 4/1. Please RSVP to Gini if you have not already done so.

Update our Bylaws and Constitution. Reminder that any questions/thoughts you have concerning the updated documents need to be communicated by April 5th to a trustee. We plan to have a vote on 4/26 right after the morning service. Under our current bylaws, we are not allowed to count absentee ballots to amend or change the constitution or bylaws, so please plan to attend on the 26th.

The nominating committee has begun the process of nominating Sunday school teachers for the 2026-2027 Sunday school year. Nominations from the congregation are welcome and appreciated.  If there are individuals you feel would be qualified or gifted to teach and would like to nominate them for a Sunday school teacher position, please contact Bro Matt or Sis Jana Gastman or any member of the nominating committee by Monday 4/6. When brothers and sisters for each position have been identified, these individuals will then go through the usual interview process with the minister team before becoming a Sunday School teacher. Please keep this teacher selection process and the nominating committee in your prayers. 

Youth Camp Registration is now open. Spots fill up quickly so they encourage registering as soon as possible. Those interested in serving at one of the camps as cabin leaders or staff can also use this same link. Registration link is AC Youth Camp Registration Link

Lost and Found - Last day to check the lost and found table for any items that may belong to you. Any items not claimed by April 1st will be donated. The table includes a few coats and other items from the Fellowship Hall as well.

Ladies Night will be on Friday, April 17th at the Fellowship Hall. Arrival time is 7:00 pm. The theme is "Lay It Down" and all ladies age high school and up are welcome to attend. Please sign up on the link to attend. Ladies Night Sign Up Link

Roanoke Church Family Camping Weekend - a Friday through Sunday event where the families from our Roanoke church are invited to camp together. We hope to camp at Comlara Park in Hudson, IL with the dates of 9/25-9/27. One or both nights of camping can be accommodated.
