March Collection - LifePoints


Sunday, 3/01 - 

  • Prayer Gathering - 9:00am All are welcome to begin our day of worship with prayer in the Intermediate Sunday School room.
  • Visiting Ministers Bros. Neil Stoller (Princeville) and Nate Ramsey (Mansfield) will have the morning service.
  • Second Service - Wedding of Charity Feucht and Wyatt Gerber. All are welcome to attend.
  • Sing from 11:30-12:00
  • The wedding starts at 12:00.
  • Lunch provided by Adam & Jackie Knepp


Winter Elder Conference -  Please pray for Frank and all the Elders as they meet for the Winter Elder Conference in Akron, OH from March 3-6.


Tuesday, 3/3 - Funeral  for Sis. Elna Wettstein at 10am. Visitation from 9-9:45 prior to the service and on Monday, 3/2 from 4-7 at the Goodfield Fellowship Hall.


Wednesday, 3/04 - 

  • ACTIVE will meet at the Fellowship Hall from 7:15 - 8:30.
  • HOPE will meet at the Fellowship Hall from 7:15 - 8:30.
  • Scripture Memory will meet at 7:15
  • WOW will meet at Bertschi’s


Thursday, 3/5 - Helping Hands  will meet from 9-12.


Saturday, 3/7 - Bible Class Spaghetti Supper  from 4-6:30pm. See attached flyer for additional information.


Young Group:

  • Tuesday, 3/3 - Singing at Valley Court at 7pm.
  • Friday, 3/6 - Worldview Movie Night at Scott & Bev Luginbuhl’s at 7pm


Spring/Summer Small Groups -  Deadline is Sunday March 1st to sign up. Each group only meets one time and it's a great way to get to know people better in our church family. We encourage everyone to give it a try. Please sign up at Spring Summer Small Group Sign Up Link


Friday, 3/13 and Saturday, 3/14 - Annual Church Cleaning:

  • Church cleaning will be Friday, March 13th from 9am-noon and Saturday, March 1st from 9:00am - 1:00pm. Similar to last year's schedule, there will NOT be any cleaning scheduled for Monday day or evening as in previous years with the goal of getting more needed participation from our church family. There will be a snack served Friday morning and lunch served on Saturday. We encourage all those able to assist to come out to help. If you can’t come for the whole time, any length of time would be helpful and appreciated. Roanoke Church Family Camping Weekend  - It’s time to start planning for the Roanoke family camping weekend. This would be a Friday through Sunday event where the families from our Roanoke church are invited to camp together. This can be done by tent, camper, or RV. We hope to camp at Comlara Park in Hudson, IL with the dates of 9/25-9/27. One or both nights of camping can be accommodated.

Looking Ahead

  • Wednesday, 3/11 - Family Night - The Scripture Memory Students will share their program with the church. The evening will begin with a 6:00 pizza supper, with congregational singing beginning at 6:45, followed by the program at 7:00.   • The Nursing Home is continuing the signup for volunteers to make homemade snacks for residents.  This is so appreciated. Details on signup. Please use this link to select a date. Snacks for NH Sign Up Link
  • 2026 Midwest Food Bank Online Auction and Gala Dinner with Live Auction -  On-line Auction will be held the week of April 12-17 with the Gala Dinner and Live Auction on Saturday April 18. The Roanoke committee is currently seeking homemade items, themed dinners or events, and business products or services for auction items. Cash donations can also be used by the committee to purchase items for the gala or as Benefit Sponsorships. Tickets for the Gala Dinner are $80 each and tables for up to 8 can be reserved. Deadline for donations will be February 28th. Please contact Jon or Jill Fehr for donations and/or tickets.
