December’s Collection - Maintenance Fund - This fund pays for the daily operations of the church. After reviewing the expenses from the last couple of years, the suggested amount per person for maintenance fees is $400.

Sunday Kitchen Help - Please consider signing up to help in the kitchen for Sunday noon lunches once or twice a month, if you are able.  On many Sundays there are several slots still available when lunch begins. We want our church lunches to run as smoothly as possible. Thanks so much and may God bless you for serving our church in this way. 

Sunday School Student Collection - Over the next three Sundays, the Sunday School students will be collecting money in their donation boxes for the OSF Children’s Hospital Cards for Kids program. The proceeds will be used to purchase gift cards and distributed to those children and families who have to spend their Christmas in the hospital. Thank you for supporting our students in giving to this worthy cause and for sharing your blessings with them during this Christmas season. The last Sunday to donate will be Sunday, December 18th 

Sunday 12/04

• Youth Choir Practice at 9:05
• Prayer Gathering - 9:00am in the intermediate Sunday School room.  All are welcome to begin our day of worship with sharing some time in prayer.
• Foundation Sunday School Class will be meeting during morning service in the adult Sunday school classroom in the North east corner downstairs. We encourage any friends to join in.  Please contact Bro. Jonathan Hodel if you have any questions.
• 2nd Service - Special Topic: Why our Church Tends to be Void of Symbols
• Annual Church Caroling - We will meet at the Fellowship Hall at 4:00. Those that are not caroling but joining us for supper should arrive at the Fellowship Hall around 5:15.

• Annual Church and Nursing Home Business Meeting -  If you are unable to be at the meeting, please text or email your votes to Brother Frank before the meeting.
• Bible Class Random Acts of Kindness is planned for Wednesday, December 7 from 6-8pm, meet at the Fellowship Hall. Please ensure students have coats as they will be inside and outside some of the time.
• ACTIVE Christmas Shopping and Christmas Party- Meet at DMV in Roanoke at 6:30. 
• HOPE Christmas Party - 7:00 - 8:30 at Emma Bradle's home
• Scripture Memory Christmas Party will be this Wednesday evening, December 7th. Please have your child arrive at the Roanoke Nursing Home at 6:45. We will gather by the front window of the home to Christmas carol. Parents can stay and carol with us, and then drive your child out to church when we are done caroling around 7:05.  Contact Sis. Jamie Hodel if your child will need a ride from the Nursing Home out to church. Students will be fed a pizza supper upon arrival to Church. They can be picked up from the Church dining room when services are over.
