Wednesday, 12/3

• Church Business Meeting - The minutes of last year’s church and Nursing Home business meetings were attached to emailed announcements. The ballot will be emailed out next week for you to view and pray about. If you are unable to attend, please get your vote to Frank by 6pm on Wednesday prior to the meeting.
• Bible Class Random Acts of Kindness - Meet at the Fellowship Hall at 6:15pm.
• Hope will meet in the Nursing Home Multi Purpose Room for our Christmas dinner party from 7-8:30pm. See your email for details.
• Scripture Memory Christmas party-  Please have your child arrive at the Roanoke Nursing Home for Christmas Caroling beginning at 6:50. We ask that parents stay and carol with us and then drive your child out to church when we are done caroling around 7:10. Please contact Jamie Hodel if your child will be needing a ride from the Nursing Home to church. The students will have a pizza party on arrival back to Church.
• ACTIVE Christmas Party will be at church at 7:30pm.

Thursday, 12/4 - Helping Hands will meet from. 9am-12. Come join us for a light luncheon afterwards. 

Young Group:

• Tuesday, 12/2- Singing at Roanoke Nursing Home at 7pm 
• Saturday, 12/6 - SALT/LIGHT Fruit Baskets and Caroling at Chad & Brenda Martin’s.

Sunday, 12/7 - 

• Prayer Gathering - All are welcome to begin our day of worship in prayer. We will meet at 9am in the intermediate Sunday School room.
• Second Service - Sunday School Christmas Program
• Annual Church Christmas Caroling and meal - We will meet at the Fellowship Hall at 4:00.
• To RSVP attendance, please sign up on the bulletin board in the middle of the back hall and indicate if you are both singing and eating or just joining us for the meal.

The Christmas Card Exchange area will again be set up like last year near the women’s restroom in the North hall. Each household/family unit in the Roanoke church has a hanging file folder assigned to them to act as their mailbox. These folders have been arranged alphabetically for easy use to give Christmas cards out to anyone in church. If you notice someone in church does not have a folder, please use the extra folders available to fill in their name and file their folder alphabetically.

We rejoice and welcome:

• We welcome our new convert Addi Tibbs (Jeff and Jayme) as she has begun her walk with the Lord. 
• We praise God for Josie Hodel (Dustin and Mandy) in her renewed commitment to her walk with the Lord and welcome her back with thanksgiving to God. 
• We  also welcome Bro. Mark & Sis. Cathy Kieser as they have decided to make Roanoke their home church.

2026 Lunch Serving List and Funeral Call List Updates - Anyone wanting to have their name added or removed from the Sunday Lunch Serving List OR the Funeral Call List should contact Cheryl Baurer (309-645-7505) before 12/1/25.

2026 Church Directory Updates:

• If you have any updates (including e-mail, phone numbers, as well as phone numbers for your children) you may either fill out the form online (https://www.roanokeacchurch.org/directory-updates ), send an email ( DirectoryUpdates@roanokeacchurch.org ), or fill out a paper form in the North hall and drop it in the box near the bulletin board.
