Wednesday 10/12 - Family Night - Bro. Mike Meece from Bloomington church will be giving a talk titled “Surrender to Victory”.  As a young believer, Bro. Mike learned spiritual lessons on the battlefield of Vietnam, and he will share how those lessons apply to us today.  Supper begins at 6:30 with singing at 7:15.

 

College Care Packages - As a church body we would like to remember our college student's by praying for them, encouraging them and sending them a small care package. This has always been a huge blessing for the students in the past. If you would like to participate, you can pick up a colored envelope from the back hall bulletin board regarding you college student's name and information. Please send packages out within the next couple of weeks after picking up an envelope.

 

Youth Choir -Bro.  Phil is looking for a few altos to help in the youth choir. They meet on Sunday morning from 9:05 to 9:30. If you are able and willing to help, please contact Bro. Phil

  • November 12 - Apologetics Conference in Washington - Registration is required and is open until 10/23 Apologetics Conference 2022 | Elders Teaching Rsrc (apostolicchristian.org)  The theme is "Who is God?” Topics include: Is God Good?  Is Jesus God? Can God Be 3-in-1? Why Does This Matter? This is Why We Worship
  • Silver Lining reader-submitted article - for January 2023. The topic is: “From others’ examples or your own experiences, how can living out Christ’s Way of Peace* (Luke 1:79) cultivate healthy, godly relationships in this world?” 
  • *an all-pervasive lifestyle based on God’s character throughout the Bible, which seeks not only to end conflicts but also to pursue forgiveness, reconciliation, and healing for everyone involved

  • AC LifePoints has a severe staffing shortage and has launched a recruitment effort “Send One”.
