1/22/23 Announcements

January’s Collection -  Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke

Sunday 1/22

  • Gateway Woods Presentation - a 5 minute presentation from Bro. Chad Kaeb will be given at the end of the first service.

Tuesday 1/24

  • Clothes sorting at the Goodfield HarvestCall Distribution Center. This year, we are only doing the online sign-up instead of people taking their turn being in charge of getting a group of volunteers together. Several local Churches and groups do this once a month, and Roanoke's turn is always the 4th Tuesday of the month, except for December, when it is the 1st Tuesday. The time is always 6:30 to 8:00 pm. A group of 10 to 12 volunteers works out well as there are also those on the committee there to help out. This announcement is to remind you of this opportunity to serve and help others, and we encourage you to take your turn every-so-often. HarvestCall Clothes Sorting Signup Link

Wednesday 1/25

  • Evening service at Fellowship Hall 7:15 - We are planning to learn songs from the new hymnal.

Sunday 1/29

  • The ministers will be starting a four-week Bible study series on the book of Jonah entitled “God’s Boundless Mercy.”  It will be during the second service and will begin on Sunday, January 29.

The Prairie Choristers and Youth Choir will begin preparing for Easter soon. If you or someone in your home would like to sing in either group, please send an email to Phil at phodel@gmail.com

Thank you from Andy and Kim -

Dear church family,

We, once again, have found ourselves on the receiving end of your love, kindness, generosity, and prayers.   Thank you for being Jesus to us as we walk this unique and difficult journey.  We are incredibly blessed to be a part of a family that genuinely cares for each other, lives out the gospel, puts their love into action, and uses their God given talents to bless others. We are so grateful to be your brother and sister in Christ. We don’t know how much longer this particular journey will go on, Kim is making great improvements,  but we are so grateful to have the Lord and our cherished church family by our side. We love you all so much.

Much love and gratitude-Andy and Kim
