  • A summary of the Elder Forums will be given during the 2nd service.

Wednesday, 1/17

  • Scripture Memory will meet at 7:15 in the dining room.
  • HOPE will meet from 7:15-8:30 in the Bible Class room.
  • WOW will meet at 7:00 in Beers shed.
  • ACTIVE will meet from 7:30 - 8:30 in the Freshman Class room.


Congratulations - Evan and Leah Walder welcomed their daughter, Philappa “Pippa” Rose, born on 1/9/24.


Ladies Bible Study Opportunity - For any ladies looking to join a Bible study group, please contact Jackie Knepp at 309-397-0728. There are groups just starting new studies for the new year and we would love to have new faces join.


The Prairie Choristers and Youth Choir will be singing on Good Friday and Easter. Practices will begin this week. If you would like to sing, please email Phil at plhodel@gmail.com.


Gridley Hymn Sing Invite - Roanoke is invited to Gridley church for a family hymn sing on Sunday, January 28th at 6:30pm.


A huge thank you to all who donated winter coats, hats and gloves.  They were received with an amazing amount of gratitude.  God Bless you all.


Authors needed for new Sunday School Curriculum - Onward Media with the support of the Elder Body is updating the Sunday School curriculum. Approximately 100 lessons have been completed. To meet the goal of completing the remaining 600 lessons by December 2025, they are looking for additional volunteers to write lessons and to work with content, doctrine and grammar teams. To view and/or teach completed lessons, please visit https://www.apostolicchristian.org/curriculum-project . To volunteer, please sign up via this link or at our website by January 28, if possible.


Looking Ahead

  • Saturday, January 27, Benefit dinner for Bro. Dustin & Sis. Mandy Hodel and their family at the Fellowship Hall. Dinner will be served from 4-7 p.m, with carry out options available. There will also be raffle baskets and silent auction items available. 
  • Saturday, February 3rd, Ladies Coffee - 9:00-10:30am at the Fellowship Hall. More details will be coming.

  •  ABIDE: 3 Week Discipleship Training - will be May 11-31, 2024 in Peachtree City, GA.
